Japanese Knotweed is one of the most extraordinary examples of an invasive plant that we have ever seen in the United Kingdom.
Japanese knotweed was introduced to the United Kingdom in the mid-nineteenth century from Asia, and can grow up to 3 metres in height. The rhizome system can extend to 7 metres laterally and to a depth of 3 metres. The plant has spread by both natural means and human activity. The evasive plant can spread with small fragments as little as 0.7 gram which can start the rise of new plants.
We have developed a system over a 10 year period that has been proven to treat, and eradicate the knotweed on site. By using this method we have moved on from the unnecessary and expensive 'Dig & Dump' method, and have shown a 50% saving to our clients.
Our method is site specific, and uses specialist screeners, and incinerators which complies with local authorities and all current legislation. When we have acted as both Principle Contractor & Sub-Contractor; references can be provided on request. Through our range of surveyors we can offer the client:
• Free on site surveys
• Value engineering projects
• 3 option treatment plan
• 12 months aftercare (included in price)
• Remedial strategies for sites
• Consultation and approvals with
local authorities
